Hallo
Das Bord bringt mich zum verzweifel
Seit Tagen versuche ich es zum laufen zu bringen
Immer mit dem gleichen Ergebnis das es nicht geht.
Vorn die beiden linken led blinken die rechten leuchten.
Egal ob das Ding an meinem switch oder direkt an der Fritz.box
hängt oder ich verbinde es mit einem PC laptop oder xxxx
immer das gleiche nix geht.
Ob ich powersdr thetis sparksdr starte nix .
Aus einem 169xxxx Netzwerk an pingen(169.254.19.221 keine ahnung ob das
die richtige ip vom hl2 ist) geht auch nicht.
Was soll ich noch anstellen das Bord enlich läuft????
Oder mein Vermutung ist doch richtig das das bord kaputt ist.
Irgenwas ist doch nicht richtig an dem Ding.
Mann sieht zwar das da igenwas im Netzwerk hängt es antwortet nicht
Eine ip oder mac Adresse zeigt sich auch nicht
was kann ich noch tuen?????

Hi,
den LEDs nach zu urteilen, bekommt Dein Board keine IP vom DHCP.
Das kann mehrere Ursachen haben.
Schließ mal das Board direkt an den PC an und konfiguriere die Netzwerkkarte des PCs wie folgt:
IP Adresse: 169.254.1.1
Subnetzmaske: 255.255.0.0
Gateway, DNS und alles andere frei lassen.
Dann müsstest Du das Board unter 169.254.19.221 erreichen können.
Wenn das Board (aus welchen Gründen auch immer) bereits eine andere, feste IP Adresse hat, wird es schwierig...

Wie lange soll ich mich noch ärgen????
Oder soll ich das Bord umtaschen?????

Vielleicht einfach ein bisschen runterkommen, nochmal darüber schlafen und morgen nochmal probieren.
Und warum sollte das nicht mit IP und Subnetmask alleine gehen? Das hat nichts mit W10 zu tun.
Bei mir hat das zumindest so unter W10 funktioniert.

so der lezte pc zum probieren das selbe Ergebnis
ip auf 169.254.1.1
Bord angepingt geht nicht
Sparksdr gestartet keine ip oder mac Adresse zu sehen
was soll ich noch anstellen??????????

Morgen,
Netmask korrekt gesetzt?
Wenn ja, dann muss ich leider passen. Bei mir hat das - wie gesagt - funktioniert.

Please also try booting with the factory image:
This should eliminate the chance that you have a fixed IP programmed. It will boot via DHCP or AIPIA if no DHCP server.
Do you have a Raspberry Pi? You can try the Raspberry Pi test and program image which has a DHCP server set up:
The test I accept for whether a unit has bad ethernet or not is if it connects to a standard home network with DHCP server. You will have to try that and report back before I authorize any return or replacement. After 500+ units, I only remember one bad ethernet and that was from lightning. There can always be a first case, but it is usually user configuration problem.

Hi Franz and Oliver,
I am glad we figured out this problem. To avoid having to boot with the factory image, Oliver can boot with the factory image but then use SparkSDR, Quisk or hermeslite.py to clear any fixed IP which might be sent.
There have been about 12 cases now of people ending up with a fixed IP when they never intended to have one. I don't know how this happening and would like to know and fix the problem. I suspect as people review all the options and tabs in some SDR program, they accidentally do something that ends up setting a fixed IP. Please let me know if anything comes to mind which might have set a fixed IP for you.

Hi Steve,
Actually I dont know Oliver at all, except from trying to help him in German here.
But coincidentally my HL2 arrived today and I fired it up and also get no dhcp connection. I tried the reset without luck but didnt have much time to work on it. I am working on the assumption that a fixed ip was set in the factory?
Will try again later and let you know.

once or twice DHCP didn't work and the HL2 reverted to 169.254.19.221. powering it off and then on cleared it and would go back to DHCP.
