There is the second release, v2.10.3.6-beta2 of Thetis for HL2.

Release now uses an installer

- Updated code base to latest official release (2.10.3.6 dev_6b, See below)
- Fixed tx attenuator for HL2
- Removed automatic renaming of database folder, the Thetis-HL2-x64 folder must be manually renamed to Thetis-x64. This should only be an issue if you haven't previous upgraded to 2.10.3.5 or 2.10.3.6-beta1, as the database will be rebuilt, along with the Wisdom file.

WARNING

This release now contains an installer and will install in the same place as the official Thetis. If you have other Anan radios, this release will work with them, but you must define separate databases with the command line "-datapath" option.

More information on this can be found at Nigel (G4ZAL) blog,

 https://g4zal.blogspot.com/2024/02/multiple-instances-of-thetis.html

Be aware that the official Thetis is still not HL2 aware, so there may be issues if you try and use a HL2 database with the official release.

This release may need a reset of the database or even a complete rebuild of the setup. You may need to use the Ctrl key at startup to reset things. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

It would be helpful if users could test this release and report bugs in Github, as this will probably be the same code that will appear in the next official Thetis release with HL2 support.

Details of the release can be found in the release notes accessible via the Thetis Setup panel.

No warranty or guarantee, use at your own risk. It should use its own database but do a backup of your current Thetis one just in case.

Cheers

Can't install. Downloading with either Chrome or Edge reports a
virus. If I allow it out of quarantine and try to run it, I get a
message saying it's not a valid package.

The problem in this case is not with the Thetis installer, but with a strange byte order within the installer, and it is flagged as a virus, a false positive.

Unfortunately, this behavior occurs from time to time.

Yes, figured it was a false positive but was trying to figure out how
to work around Windows Defender because marking it safe wasn't
working. I finally had to temporarily turn off "real-time protection"
in Defender, download it, and then the installer worked fine.
