Can't compile RTL

I would be grateful if someone could steer me in the right direction.

When trying to open the Hermes-Lite/rtl/Hermes_Lite.qpf file I got error messages like ...

I commented out all the files as below ...

Now everything loaded and I was compiling for SDK so I figured I was good to go. On compiling I got the following messages and I have no idea what to try next.

Would be really glad to have some help here.

Some small progress and some info I should have included ...

Revision Name   Hermes_Lite_FD_12SDK (I assume FD stands for Full Duplex?)

Now down to these errors. The others simply went away on subsequent compile attempts ...

Hi Graeme,

You shouldn't have to go through this much to get it to compile. I think your problems are due to using an older version of Quartus. Please upgrade to 15.01 and try again with a clean copy of the RTL. The wiki page covers the basics of compiling with Quartus. You can always use the bitfiles. Are you trying to recompile to use VNA with your 61.440 MHz oscillator?

Hi Steve,

Thanks for the response much appreciated. Yes I am trying to compile to be able to use Duplex mode and VNA with my 61.440 oscillator. At present I am using a .jic file from November 2014 and it is working although I have many spikes and artifacts which I am not worried about at present. I figured the latest .jic file would be compiled for a 73.728 oscillator and would nopt work for me. I would keep the number of receivers down to 2 as I only have my cell phone for a receiver at this stage. I will upgrade Quartus and start with clean copy and report back.

The bitfiles at 

https://github.com/softerhardware/Hermes-Lite/tree/master/rtl/bitfiles/20150609

are recent and include versions for 61.440 MHz.

Look for _61 in the name.

Hi Steve,

Thanks for that. I have loaded Hermes_Lite_12SDK_61.jic and it works beautifully :-)) The spikes and artifacts have gone and the noise floor is down by 20 dB. Very sensitive with just my finger on antenna I can hear QRP CW from 400 KM away at S9. It seems to be a good match for my HiQSDR so far but will test extensively over next few days. Have done more testing of the  Recom R-785.0-0.5's and they are completely quiet over the 160 to 6 M spectrum. My test was very brute force by clipping my HiQSDR aerial lead to the +5.0 volt rail and looking for noise across the spectrum. The psu is non shielded and right beside the Hermes-Lite laid out on my workbench.
