How to transmit using the space bar

I have been through the setup many times and I just can't seem to get the space bar to work on the space bar.

It transmits using tun button so I know it transmits.  I see 5.4 watts on my external watt meter into a dummy load.

Any help on getting the PTT to work with the Space bar will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Phil,

Are you using Thetis? If so, ensure that in Setup -> Keyboard tab, you tick "Enable shortcuts" like so:
