A quick check reveals that the network bandwith is probably the cause.
Depending on the hardware, in P1 for PURESIGNAL you need 4 or 5 RX channels,
all running at 384k. For each receiver, you have 6 bytes per sample, plus
four bytes for the Mic samples ==> up to 34 byte per sample
At 384 k, this makes 13 Mio bytes per second which is larger than 100 Mio bits
per second.
So it is completely clear that you cannot run PS at 384 k in P1 using
a 100 MBit/sec connection. What is so difficult about this simple
calculation?
RedPitaya based SDRs (or any other design with an FPGA/ARM couple) use
standard hardware for the ethernet and thus can do 1GBit/sec in P1,
here PS with 384k should work.
