Hi All and thank you for allowing me access to group and join.

I have been operating with HL2 for over 3 years and my HL2 has just developed an issue on transmit shutting down losing network o0n Thetis, on DeskHPSDR warning on shutdown ADOC Overload and shuts down transmit loses Network connection

TheHL2 is directly connecte3d to PC changed ethernet cables, Star grounded all components in shack even shuts down on dummy load and low power setting so don't see RFI as the issue.

I checked all connections. HL2 now has lost full output power as well so believe it over many years excellent service may have board failure.

Any advice on where to look for repairing would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Greg,

What is the reported temperature and current draw just before it shuts down? Do you see the same issue when transmitting into a dummy load?

Hi Steve,

Thank you for your input.

I have tested the HL2 using two different PC,'s as well as totally separate configuration installation connected into a dummy load and same losing network connection on transmit.

I have tested when just started up HL2 and suspect I see slightly slower to shutdown on transmit when cooler.

At first I thought it was a RFi issue however even reducing power output to -7.5dB still shuts down on transmit due to losing network.

The HL2 is connected directly to PC, have used shielded network cables, ferrites and even changed to Linux and DeskHPSDR and same issue.

On Deskhpsdr I see a ADOC overload message warning as it shuts down transmit.

It usually takes 20 - 30 seconds shut down SDR program and reconnect to start receiving again.

Any advice of possible solution area to check would be greatly appreciated.

This HL 2 has been working well for over 4 years.

Cheers
