Hi

My ultimate goal is to do exactly what is described in George's tutorial "http://www.george-smart.co.uk/2020/12/using-cw-skimmer-with-hermes-lite-2-sdr/"

According to this tutorial, I install the 10RX gateware compatible with the latest version of HermesIntf.dll from KV4TT,  using the watchdog timer.

The version should switch to 72 and patch to 8, but the version remains at 70, so I'm blocked for futher operations.

Alan M0NN says "Well I think that by shorting the ptt you start with the default image so you never see the new programmed image". See message dated 10.12.2020.

This is a network problem and he asked me to open a message in this group.

I am not a network specialist, but I would like to switch to a fixed IP address.

Can someone help me?

In the "Radio settings" dialogue box of SparkSDR, I see 3 interesting fields :

- the MAC field : I don't see how to put a mac address "00:1C:C0:A2:13:DD" in this field.

- the IP field, for the fixed address

- and the "Favor DHCP" field, local DHCP ?

Can someone give me an example of a configuration?

Any help is appreciated

I installed a static address directly in the livebox (router in France). Since then, everything works as I want it to:
- HL2 recognized without squeezing the PTT cable
- Skiming 8 HF Bands

It's fantastic, problem solved.
Thank you to all those who have helped me or whom I have disturbed.
