The HL2 is very popular at Makerfabs. I am sure they will be making more very soon. AFAIK it is the only source of a new HL2. Don't forget you need three items from Makerfabs to make the complete "ready to go" HF radio:

I guess ESSB will simply depend on what software you choose to use alongside the HL2. There are many choices. Not sure which (if any ) generate ESSB? Others here will no doubt be along soon to answer.
