Hello,
I have had one of my Hermes-Lite 2 hit by lightning.  It destroyed D12, I replace it with the correct component.  It also destroyed U4, That has been replaced also.  Now It will power up and the "HW" LED will come on solid, and the "CLK" LED will flash. Then the "SPD" LED will flash briefly and also the yellow and green LED on the MagJack will flashes briefly, and go into a cycle doing this continuously.  All voltages are correct on the regulators.  Hope anyone can give me and insight on what I can look at next.  I have other Hermes lite 2 that work ok in the same setting.  Thanks for any help.

Hi Tim,

A ligthning strike can be pretty catastrophic. You may be better off just purchasing a replacement. I suspect portion of the FPGA may be damaged too. If I were to try and debug this, I'd write small FPGA tests and upload them to the FPGA via the programming connector using a USB blaster. This requires FPGA expertise so may not be doable by everybody.
