Hello and Happy New Year

I noticed that Hermes Lite 2 on TX the current is up to 2A on dummy load. With the quisk I  tried to reset the bias, but it did the same, even when the bias is 0 the current is 1A with 0 watts output.
I also tried to reload the rpf 73.2 file but it doesn't work and I get this message.

Thank you

Try to reset the bias to the recommended value. Does that work? Then use the Spot button and move the Spot level slider up and down. At zero, you should be back to the bias level, and the power amp current should move smoothly with the Spot level.

The traceback indicates a network problem.

Thank you very much Jim for the response.

I did what you said but I didn't see any difference. I am sending two videos, in the first it is with the bias of 100 ( not the current ) on each transistor, in the second the bias is 0, then the current seems to be correct. I am not sure if the problem is from software or hardware.

Thank you

Hi Nikos,

Did you damage or strip of B106 when installing the heat shim? This is a problem we've seen a few times and can cause high bias current, excessive heat, and no signal output. Go to:

and search for B106. See if those previous discussions help with your issue.

Hi Steve and thank you very much.

You were right, after all it was the J32, it had a small crack and I didn't see it. I just put a small piece of wire in its place and now it works very well.

Thank you
