Thetis CW sidetone and IO Board RX ant switching

I'm having a couple of problems with Thetis 2.10.3.6 HL2 beta 5 setup.

Firstly I have set up for CW with N1MM keying via a serial port which also provides PTT. This all outputs RF nicely and I can monitor on another RX, but I don't get any sidetone. The sidetone button is turned on. I have also tried keying direct into the HL2 front panel 3.5mm jack - this also does not have a sidetone. 

Audio is set via VAC1 and the Microsoft Sound Mapper as I couldn't get any audio sending it direct to the Lifechat headphones.

The second problem is that I use the IO board RX input for receive signals, however this doesn't seem to be selected by default and I can't see how to enable it in the huge number of Thetis options. Hence no received signals.

I hope somebody has a solution for these issues.
