I’ve tried shoring the tip and ring to reset but so far it doesn’t change anything. I’ve went thru all the troubleshooting steps. This all started after I tried to use sdr console. Now it doesn’t work on anything. I’m working away and won’t be back until Friday. I’d really appreciate help on this. Tried the python py. It keeps saying it doesn’t work on port 1025?

Hi Kevan,
Please report the results of all the troubleshooting steps. For example, what is the flashing state of all the LEDs? Are you using DHCP or APIPA? When you tried factory reset, that only applies to the current power on. What software did you try to connect then? What is the flashing state of the LEDs after factory reset? Subsequent boots will not be in factory reset mode. I suspect you accidentally changed a network configuration in SDR console.

It seems like it's not booting in factory reset mode

Steve I finally got it working. I dug out my old win7 laptop Using the factory boot mode sdr console found the hermes. clicked on favor dhcp . Now it works again on my win10 and my win 11 pc's
I still don't understand why I couldn't do this on my new computer but it worked and I'm a happy camper.
