Where can I find a Block-diagram of HL2 like the one of Hermes? I raise this question in order to have a better understanding of the hardware and to use it in complement to the schematics to study HL2. Attached a copy of Hermes Block-diagram found in Hermes wiki.

Hi Pierre,

Attached is one I made several years ago. Also, go to the GUI interface to this group at groups.google.com/g/hermes-lite and search "block diagram" and also "portland latch-up"  OH2GAQ once prepared a set of slides. The portland latch-up thread has slides I've prepared plus a link to a YouTube overview video.

Thanks Steve. I'm currently studying the documentation while waiting for my HL2 ordered a few days ago. I also found that very interesting wiki :  Hermes Lite 2.0 · softerhardware/Hermes-Lite Wiki (github.com)

Yes, it is interesting but note the date is 2016, that is more properly describing 'hermes lite 1' not 'hermes lite 2'.

It has a lot of the same parts and ideas but a lot changed between HL1 and HL2.

https://github.com/softerhardware/Hermes-Lite2/wiki is the proper location of the information for HL2.

RDP

Ok, it may be better to call it some of the ideas that became HL2, but again it is pretty dated information.

Did the lookups and found the emails:

- slides from hammish:

Hi Pierre,

Like Roger says, that page is very old. The original Hermes-Lite project is deprecated. Please see the following for all the latest links:

Yes Steve, I understand that: these documents are obsolete . I asked this question only because a block diagram, as proposed with other transceivers and kits is a great help to understand the general organization of an electronic device and study more easily the detailed schematics. For me the HL2 looks like a quite complex design and a block diagram like the one attached (SunSDR Pro) would help. Anyway I have still time before the arrival of my HL2, which should not leave Shenzhen before the 23rd of August.

Hi Pierre and PA3FUN,

Thanks for the interesting presentation. I have started a section in the wiki to link to external presentations, documentation, blogs, etc. which are related to the Hermes-Lite. Please feel free to add to the list. All that is required for GUI editing is a free github account:
