Hello everyone, I saw some information a while ago that an additional card would be released that would allow you to have VHF and UHF with HL2. Is this true? If so, do you have a link?

You will need a transverter to do this.

Hi,

On github of hl2 there is a project for a transverter for 50 or 144 mhz that fit in place of the filter board.
But i don't know if someone has built it. Asked here a couple of times but no answer.

I built the transverter board for 2m some time ago.

It works, but for transmission the suppression of the 116MHz oscillator signal is not sufficient.

In Germany you need to have at least 60dB suppression, but I don't reach that.

I measured the S21 parameters of the 2m bandpass and considered the oscillator signal suppression of the mixer:

Together they should reach >60dB suppression, but in reality they don't.

Most probably it is a layout / groundplane issue.

I think you will have to add another bandpass between the board and a TX PA.
