PiHPSDR with FLDIGI using PulseAudio

I finally have a working setup of PiHPSDR, FLDIGI, and PulseAudio on running on my Raspberry Pi4. Following is an outline of the setup.

PulseAudio Setup

Install pavucontrol

Add null sink modules:

Logout, Login

PiHPSDR Install

Download PiHPSDR DL1YCF Fork:

Compile instructions:

PiHPSDR Configuration

Menu > RX

Check Local Audio Output

Select: RX0 Audio

Menu > TX

Check: Local Microphone

Select: Monitor of TX Audio

FLDIGI Configuration

Configure > Soundcard > Devices

Check PulseAudio

Audio device RX Monitor: Select pulse, check Enable

PulseAudio Configuration

Playback

piHPSDR: RX-0 on RX0 Audio

FLDIGI: playback on TX Audio

ALSA plug-in [fldigi]: ALSA Playback on Built-in Audio Stereo

Recording

piHPSDR: TX from Monitor of TX Audio

FLDIGI: capture from Monitor of RX0 Audio

I am working on the transmit audio and FLDIGI CAT configurations. I will add the configuration notes to the Hermes Lite 2 wiki when everything is working ok.
