I made two designs for a stand that holds a Hermes Lite 2 or Hermes Lite 2+ transceiver upright. This allows better cooling and uses less desk space. They both have a spacer that holds the HL2 about an inch away from another object. One design includes a holder for a Hard Rock 50 amplifier.

Models made with OpenSCAD so you can easily modify them as needed.

Hi Phil,

That looks very nice. My son wants me to get a 3D printer so I may try printing one out. There are are endplates with the writing horizontal when the HL2 is in this vertical configuration:

Also, do me a favor and please refer to the HL2 with AK4951 companion card. Adding a plus to the hermes-lite name is a marketing gimic to try and make people think it is better (everyone knows an A+ is better than an A). There are those (including me) who think it is an unnecessary aftermarket modification, others like it. I have asked them not to use this rebranding of the hermes-lite name, but they refuse. It drivers me up the wall.

Thanks for the info on the end plates.
I did not mean to offend you. Thanks for all your HL2 efforts.
