I am trying to get a 8 or 10 CW skimmer working on my new Hermes Lite 2
Have managed to load the Gateway ver hl2b5up_cicrx.rbf I believe is the right one.

And I used  HermesIntf_G7VKQ.zip not sure if that's the latest and greatest looked for the one George Smart (https://www.george-smart.co.uk/2020/12/using-cw-skimmer-with-hermes-lite-2-sdr/) recommended from KV4TT but not available.

Any assistance greatly appreciated used to own a QS1R hoping to get similar results.

Never got G7VKQ's DLL to work...
I use this https://github.com/KV4TT/HermesIntf/releases/tag/V2.0

Hi Cliff,

You may also have to disable the watchdog timer as that has caused problems for CW skimmer in the past. Search this list for watchdog timer:

Yep it works not crashing now;  though the reported frequencies are not all that accurate on the Reverse Beacon network, tried the calibration of Skimmer Server , is there an actual Hermes frequency calibration ?
I found one in Thetis but that would only be for that program I am guessing.  Max 8 RX it seems, CPU only at about 4% so not stressed

So it works but until I sought the frequency inaccuracy to much point reporting the spots

Thanks Steve , it is working but frequencies being reported back from the RBN are not accurate or consistent , even after trying the Skimmer Server Cal in the docs.

Will check out the watchdog timer but think that the DLL I am using has that taken care of.

Cliff try to report that on the Cwskimmer Facebook page, to see if anyone have insight of that and can help you.

Cliff, Mat

When I tried building that DLL, I was a bit rushed and it seemed to work for a few people (including myself), but it must have linked in some odd/old libraries I had on my machine. The KV4TT DLL is definitely the way to go now...it's what I use now and it's very stable (having my HL2 hang off a switch rather than the router helps the stability). I tend to use a Red Pitaya 122-16 now for skimming, as I can get two concurrent 8 band receivers on a single RedPitaya, with CWSL_Digi for the back end....but for 8 bands the HL2 is just as good
