Hi Reid,

Good going for Thetis, I am yet to use thetis still using your final Power SDR for hermes lite. Thank you for a lovely support.

Firstly thanks for the work you do on Thetis for the HL2. If I want to use the latest Thetis release (I have 2.8.12 working great) is it possible to setup the standard version for the HL2 or alternatively what do i need to do to get your HL2 mods working with it?

You install the standard version first the put the HL2 version into a new folder and run it from there.  The HL2 version does not have an installer.

Thanks for replies, my badly worded question was in relation to the latest Thetis release which is over 2.9 now. Is it possible to get Reid's mods working with the latest release? If Reid is listening what are your plans to support the latest releases or is 2.8.12 going to remain the only release for the HL2?

regards Alan/VK2ATW

Hi Alan,

I didn't reply to your last message because I though Mike had covered it but now I understand what you are getting at. There will be further releases based on the new 2.9 code and I was tracking the changes up until closer to the release of 2.9. Then a lot of major changes was made to code I had modified and it all broke. I have it back to just before those changes were made but then spring and the good weather arrive.

So when I get time, I need to work on the changes made by Richie on the Thetis team and there is quite a bit of testing and check out that things are not broken.  One of the issues that I have noticed, when driving an external amp, is a relay clicking out of sync. I need to understand that one better.

So there you are, I haven't forgotten about you all, just busy with everything else going on.

Cheers

No problem Reid, i’m just thankful to have Thetis working as it is, it’s fantastic! Good to hear you are still maintaining and if there is anything I can do to help with testing let me know. I have a HL2 hooked up with a Hardrock 50 amp.

Enjoy the summer.

I like using Thetis (2.8.11) and like it.  Unfortunately it doesn't have the New Zealand band plan as an option.
Is there a way to add or to edit the information some how. It would appear that our band plan might be unique.
