Hi all.
Today I managed to get my brand-new "DJController Compact" up-and-running in combination with my RPI3b/piHPSDR.
Despite a lot of effort, I don't get it going on my MacBook Air (Catalina).
I'm using the very same MIDI-configuration-file  on my Mac as on the RPI3b.
I checked the Midi-setup of my Mac using the standard "Audio/MIDI-configuration" utility. All looks okay. I too checked using a public-domain utility called "snoize". This test too gives me the impression the DJController is correctly hooked up and functioning.
There's one strange thing though: there seems no port defined for this DJController (see screenprint attached).
IS there anyone out there who can help me with this? Any help appreciated.

Hi Christiaan,

I am using the same controller and I do not remember having to do anything special to set it up.

Hi Dan, thanks for your reaction. And good to hear it's working well in your set-up - that gives me hope :) . I notice that in your "DJControl Compact Properties" screen, the field "ports" displays a value, namely "DJControl Compact". On my Macbook-Air (Catalina) no value is shown in that field, as you can see in the screenshot that accompanied my original posting. No idea why that is / what causes that, and if it can have any relation with the odd behaviour of my set-up.
What MacOS are you running? Catalina?

I also just plugged it into my other Mac for the first very first time and it immediately recognized it. The Ports listing on the Configuration screen is identical. This Mac is also running MacOS Catalina Version 10.15.7. I hope that helps.

Oh, and in both cases it was plugged directly into the Mac’s USB ports. No USB Hub, if that makes a difference...
