Hi Group,

I saw this post today about a new iOS and Android app:

I think this should be compatible with the hl2_tcp by N6YWU:

As an Android users, I am wondering if this combination will provide an easy way to access the HL2 from an Android device.

As long as it supports the same sample rates as the Hermes. I setup hl2_tcp and it worked greate, but the only client I could get running was SDR#, running in wine on my laptop. Even still the sampling rate did not match up and the audio was strange. I tried gqrx and it worked for a minute then crashed. I'll give this a go as well and see if it works. I would love to get something like this working for remote listening. Openwebrx works well, but I couldn't find any noise filters, and I need them at my QTH due to high RFI (I live in a crowded suburban neighborhood).

I was NOT able to get MagicSDR to connect to with the hl2_tcp by N6YWU.

His IOS app works.

Has anyone else been able to make this work?

Hi Steve,
The new Android SDR app doesn't currently appear to support HL2 sample rates, but the app's support website says HPSDR support is on the roadmap.
