Udaya Garudasevai Sri Sarangapani Temple Kumbakonam

 

Sri Sarangapani Temple is the  head of all the temples in Kumbakonam . Lord sarangapan ( Sarangaraja/Aravamudan )   is the deity. 7 Alwars have composed songs. He is in sleeping posture. (Sayana Thirukkolam) The Urchava Lord is standing before with merciful look and devine grace. In the Pavithrosthavam, the Udaya Garudasevai festival is performed today   morning 28.07.2012.
