 This Tamil month purattasi is special month to do poojas, worship the god in temples and "Purattasi Sani", all Saturdays falling in this month are also auspiciously celebrated and this month is deicated to God Perumal (Lord Venkateswara), Devotees gather in large number at Lord Vishnu temples .  The Brahmosthavam is occurred in this month.
