The omniverse (or Omniverse) is the largest of the classical -verses, surpassing a multiverse or even any of the archverses by a transfinite factor. While frequently argued to contain absolutely everything, there are limits to the Omniverse's extent, reached when one attempts to derive something not part of a given understanding of reality.
In a sense, it can indeed be argued to contain "all of Reality", but only in the sense that those below it observe it to be as such. The inhabitants of a universe, for instance, can posit the existence of a multiverse containing every possible state their universe could be in, and a megaverse allowing for looser laws of physics, and a gigaverse allowing for even fewer restrictions, but the limit of this application must be at the omniverse if they wish to stay within the concept of "things that are real". Thus, alternate omniverses in each others' relative Paradox Space contain things that cannot be mapped from one sense of "reality" to another.
Just to give an update here, the reason Cesium for Omniverse appears in the extension registry as a community extension is because we were using the omniverse-kit-extension tag. Nvidia automatically scans GitHub for all repos with that tag and adds them as community extensions.
I am also running into this issue. I cannot enable autoload because omniverse failed to solve all extension dependencies. I have fully removed omniverse and followed the quick start guide again without success. I am running on Ubuntu 22.04 with the 525.125 driver.

I am unable to load the omniverse usd plugin in Maya 2020 Update 4 on Windows 10. I get the error seen in the attached snapshot. I looked at this thread and ensured that the Maya USD plugin was not loaded but the issue seems to persist.
I installed the plugin via the Omniverse app so I assume it installed cleanly although I could try installing again. Initially I started Maya 2020.4 and loaded the omniverse usd plugin and it failed to load with a generic plugin initialisation failed error. I searched the forums here and found a thread about first unloading the maya-usd plugin which as on auto-load in my case. So, I turned that off and restarted Maya and verified that maya-usd plugin was not loaded anymore. Then I tried to load the omnivores plugin and ran into the error message attached in my first post.
Thanks a ton Aron and TJ! The issue is resolved now! I think previously I was only unloading the mayausd plugin and not the hydra plugin which was causing the issue. Its working as expected now. Thank you very much! Looking forward to omniverse!
As a reward for her selflessness, the Hands chose to spare Diana and the rest of the Multiverse's residents. Furthermore, They also restored to the existence every previous iterations of the Multiverse, creating a web of multiverses, an "omniverse" into the greater Omniverse, which Wally West referred to as the Infinite Frontier.[13] However, the Hands warned her that a "cost" would have been paid as a consequence of the return of the Multiverse: in fact, inside the Overvoid, the Great Darkness woke up and its energy was stolen by Pariah/Kell Mossa, who had previously planned to create its version of the Multiverse, kicking off a series of events that caused the Dark Crisis.
The Omnivers is a verse which contains (universe, multiverse, hyperverse) in size ranked 1-A. It contains a countably infinite amount of Archverses, ending with Universes at the lowest level. The Omniverse is the largest official Archverse in the Wikiverse, and the largest Archverse in the original chain (Universe, multiverse, metaverse, xenoverse, hyperverse, omniverse,).
As interest in the metaverse continues to surge, discussion about the terminology used to describe the concept of immersive 3D, digital environments has also picked up steam. Three terms -- metaverse, multiverse and omniverse -- are sometimes used interchangeably, but they take different approaches to virtual reality.
Nvidia co-opted the term omniverse to describe its specific approach to integrating industrial digital twins at scale using the Universal Scene Description file format. The company has been busy developing connectors to all the major 3D engineering, design and entertainment apps that enable participants to work away on the same file. In the traditional workflow, someone exports a file to view in another app, and a lot of manual effort is involved in keeping different versions in sync.
