2. Use [JOB1] JCL. (with "DEFER" and "DISP=REWIND", etc)
3. Hercules does not yet support autoloader on SCSI tapes. Please disable autoloader feature on your tape drive.

4. Make sure drive defined in HCD without autoloader/library (ACF) feature?
You will have to manually load the desired tape.
Autoloader (ACF) is NOT supported on Hercules for SCSI tape drives.
Autoloader (ACF) *is* supported for .aws/.het tapes (see 'README.TAPE' for details), but autoloader (ACF) is NOT supported for SCSI tape drives.
