Greetings!

I wanted to ask a couple of questions while we were on the phone this
evening, but was a bit shy ..

1.) Sean, you spoke of a few herbs that were particularly good for the
breath .. opening or relaxing the airways: Solomon Seal, Aster & Black
Cohosh. Would you refer to one or all as being a good ally for asthma?
I am called to offer the medicine of Mullein to a friend who is
struggling with asthma, but want to have a full medicine bag so to
speak once I understand the core from which this springs for her. I
am connected to the emotion of asthma and am wanting to share that
aspect of it with her and see how that fits .. and then seek a green
partner for that piece of her dance as well.

2.) Towards the end of our call there was some discussion of the wee
ones .. I am being drawn so profoundly into relationship with their
realm. I was introduced to them while on a vision quest some years
ago, but have not consciously worked with them since. Recently, I have
been sitting with an area of the land on which we live & have been
called by the fey there. I have been dreaming their names and have
been led to goddesses that are related to their world and their magic.
Apart from what I am experiencing & consciously journeying with, I
want to actively learn more about the fairy realms - Elphland... Does
anyone reading this post have a recommendation for resources I can
tap .. books, websites, .. etc. I am a voracious reader so if a book
springs to mind I would love to know it.

Thank you! And, Sean, thank you so much for your generosity of wisdom
in creating and holding space for these calls!

Bless,
Kim

Regarding asthma, it is a complex illness.  Each of these three herbs can be beneficial depending on the situation.

The three approaches I find almost universally helpful:

-- Elimination of gluten and cassein
-- Schizandra decoctions daily
-- Lobelia as needed in emergencies

But much of the rest varies depending on the constitution, symptoms, and history of the person.

Regarding the Good People:

is an excellent starting place and will lead you in turn to some more primary material.

That is all I shall say of Them for now.

Blessings,
Sean

I would imagine you will cover Asthma on the upcoming 4/28 call, right
Sean? Grief is often stored in the lungs if it is not processed
correctly. I am sure Sean will also address other herbs and/or
homeopathic remedies and flower essences. Indeed, Dr. Christopher
used Lobelia alone one time to cure asthma! The usual formula he used
though was 3/4 Mullein, 1/4 Lobelia. As I remember, other lung herbs
(depending on the person, as Sean mentions) are Elecampane, Comfrey,
Yerba Santa and a few we discussed on the last call. I am thinking
Star of Bethlehem for flower essence, as that is a specific for
grief. I also wonder if any of the so-called smoking herbs (like Uva
Ursi) help Asthma, as I have not had any personal cases like these - I
am so looking forward to it! And as an aside - check out
http://www.sacred-texts.com/neu/celt/index.htm#fairies and
http://www.sacred-texts.com/neu/yeats/index.htm - some good stuff
there (I have hard copies of a couple of those)!
