When should we have our next meeting?

Our first meeting on 5/26/2012 helped set the stage and define the issues. Please read the attached document of the minutes of our first meeting, prepared by Professor Diane Guerrazzi of the SJSU School of Journalism. (Thank you Diane!) Before our next meeting we should try to accomplish some of the items listed in this document. At some point we should set up a regular monthly meeting schedule, but for now we need to decide on our next meeting. The month of Ramadan is coming up (starting July 20), which I've found is not a good time for meetings, so we should meet before July 20 if possible to keep the momentum going. If we meet again on a Saturday morning, I am free every Saturday morning/early afternoon from June 16 through July 14. I also set up a Google calendar for sister city events which we can use for planning purposes (maybe--I'm still learning about the calendar features--let me know if you are familiar with this tool and what Google calls "labs"). I sent a separate Google groups message with an invitation to the calendar. 

So here is the big questions for this discussion: When should we have our next meeting?

Related to this timing question are two more questions: 1. Where should we meet? (I think John Gill said the library is not available for ongoing meetings--can a room at SJSU be arranged?) and 2. What is the primary purpose of this next meeting? Here is a list from the attached document of 7 things we thought were important to do next: 
1. Statement of purpose, using the SJ Okayama partnership as a template.
2. Guidelines
3. Strategic plan
4. Roadmap
5. Put Google Group in place
6. Arrange for conference calling
7. Have a meeting to elect officers
Some of these 7 items we can work on using this group forum (for example starting conversations on number 1, 2, 3, & 4). #5 "Put Google Group in place"... is here. And #6 is easily done-- if we just set a time I can arrange a free conference call and distribute the call-in phone number and access code. So should we schedule some conference call meetings to deal with some of these issues? And regarding #7, I think we should first have some nominations for officers, but that has to be done after we have our "Statement of Purpose" and bylaws (#s 1, 2, 3, and 4 ...again). The officers need to know what is expected of them. But perhaps we could quickly nominate and elect interim officers to keep things moving along.

Hi,
I believe that a weekend in the morning would be best.
Maybe 4 weeks from now.
It will be in early July.
I believe we need to have some traction prior to another meeting.
Otherwise we can just email each other or post in this group.
