We just had our first formation committee meeting on May 26, 2012 with 15 people attending at the main library in San Jose. Ten of the group were Afghans and some of them were born in Herat and have relatives in San Jose. We are excited to see the group grow to include many from a broad cross-section of the San Jose community. We know this will take a grassroots effort to convince San Jose politicians that this partnership will benefit the City as well as further world peace and prosperity. Please join us in this effort.
