I hereby officially invite you to the defense of my doctoral thesis, titled "Subseasonal Drought and Low Flow Predictions in the European Alps with Machine Learning Aided Hybrid Approaches". 

 

The defense will take place at 1:30 PM on Friday (Paris Time), October 4th, but we have a nice program starting earlier at 10:30 AM (Paris Time), including a talk by my external examiner, Chris White.

Annie's defense. The entire defense is public. After my 20-min presentation, there will be a short pause for those who do not wish to stay for the question session to leave. The question session by the examination committee will last at least one hour (usually not much longer). Following that, the public will have the chance to ask questions as well.
