Way to pass data through an iForm chain?

Is there any VGR command or global variable that can be used to pass information from one iForm to another when they are opened in succession?

For example, I have a chain of 2 VGR iforms, one opening as soon as the submit button from the first is pressed. Depending on the results of the first iForm, I want to 2nd one to initialize differently. Active order awareness does not work in this situation since the orders from the 1st iForm are still queued and cannot be accessed.
