Is it possible to pull the clinical provider number, or staff ID, into a formless VGR exit check?  I know in the Exit Check Rule Writer in HEO Toolkit you can specific clinical provider numbers but I'm discovering it to be much easier to write exit check rules in formless VGR.

A scenario would be "If the Clinical Provider Number is 123456 AND the patient has a foley, display this iForm".

Think I figured it out, I can get the staff ID by calling "user.id" in the VGR code and then write a statement to see if "user.id" contains the staff ID I'm looking for.

Well, I'm back at the spot. Any ideas how to pull the clinical role into VGR?

You can't do it directly as far as I know, user.role is not a valid VGR session context variable. I've toyed with the idea of using the standard rule writer put the user role into a temp order's comments, then using order awareness to import the comment into a VGR and DC the temp order. I've done similar things before but for some reason had trouble with this

Thanks. I ended up using a combination of clinician roles in the rule writer, and user.ids in the formless vgr.
