Problem is, it sends one file if there is only one file attached. If I want to send multiple files from the multi file uploads value, it will not send any attachments at all. I am becoming a bit frustrated. Its probably something simple.
Our usecase is for agency clients who are less technically savvy and who might normally want to message passwords unencrypted. We would pre-emptively send them request links so they know where to put these things.
This would be a super useful feature in the CSP/MSP space. We regularly send sensitive information back and forth with clients and it would be very useful to have the capability for them to simply upload or send passwords/files/text to us via request or email.
Hi, im having doubts of the process of completing a milestone with a client. For example, i just finished writing a document that is the milestone 1 that i set up with the client, and i send the documment throught the link of the payment area but the client wanted me to send it through upwork messages and so i did ? Was that ok, or is not the correct canal of summiting work ?
Hi Jennifer,
It's probably a good thing to submit the document through the submit work/request payment form because that sends a message that you're submitting work and requesting payment :). After you do this, your client reviews your work and then the client can release the money that's in escrow to cover the milestone, or they can ask for revisions.
Submitting the work through the submission form also ensures that if the client doesn't contact you about the milestone, the money in escrow is released automatically 14 days after you've submitted the work.
I'm not sure why your client would want you to send it through the message system. Unless the person is not planning to pay you within 14 days?
You can't break anything by sending things twice. Just make sure your document has a filename that clearly indicates what it is. You might want to add the date to the file name or something like that. If it's a revised version of an earlier draft, you might want to indicate a version number.
There is some information about payment on this link:

Please discuss with your client ahead of time how you'll deliver your files or other work product. You can send files using Upwork's collaboration tools or use whatever third-party solutions you prefer.
It was ok, but you can always send your work twice. I am not sure how clients are informed about submitted files. They might just end up in the file folder and some clients seem to have problems finding them. Always add them when you request a milestone to be released. That is your proof in a dispute.
I just burned a couple of hours searching for a solution to send files over an active PSSession. And the result is nada, niente. I'm trying to invoke a command on a remote computer over an active session, which should copy something from a network storage. So, basically this is it:
Because of the "second hop" problem, I can't do that directly, and because I'm running win server 2003 I cant enable CredSSP. I could first copy the files to my computer and then send/push them to the remote machine, but how? I tried PModem, but as I saw it can only pull data and not push.
Some minor changes would allow it to accept a session as a parameter instead of it starting a new one. I found the memory consumption on the Remoting service on the destination computer could grow quite large when transferring large files. I suspect PS Remoting wasn't really designed to be used this way.
Thanks kieronr1. Your statement "Don'y worry if it shows your phone etc. as not connected. they will connect automatically when you send a file." was absolutely correct. Despite showing "note connected" i was able to
When finished close this page and return to Bluetooth. Pair your devices if not done already. Don'y worry if it shows your phone etc. as not connected. they will connect automatically when you send a file. One further thing. Check to make sure you haven't your firewall set to block incoming bluetooth transfers.
I had this same problem with my S7. After a few hours of frustration & online searching, I finally figured out on my own that not only do you have to have the "Bluetooth sharing" on but also the "file sharing" has to be on. Very simple duh & aha moment for me. Once I turned that on everything went through. I tried sending the photo to myself with the Gmail app & that sat in my outbox on my phone "queued" to send. I had to connect my Gmail with the phone's email app & sent the picture, that worked too. Not sure what's going on with Gmail since my S5 had no problem with bluetooth or Gmail. Hope this helps!
Same issue here, this is only happening with your "upgraded" components, in the deprecated file upload component we had no issues, we tried both with .files[0] and .value[0]
But nothing seems to work, works perfectly via postman
When you click "Send files", the next screen (with the title "Select where to send your files") should show a list of Bluetooth devices either in range or paired with the computer. Only when you select one of the devices will it present you with the next screen allowing you to select which files to send.
Hello @jonathan.lukas , basically what I did was use a send mail connector for the implementation, like in this git: GitHub - camunda-community-hub/camunda-platform-7-mail: Mail connectors for Camunda Platform 7.
The content of the file can either be posted using an enctype of multipart/form-data (with the file parameter named file), in the usual way that files are uploaded via the browser, or the content of the file can be sent as a POST var called content. The latter should be used for creating a "file" from a long message/paste and forces "editable" mode.
If your Box Administrator allows email uploads for your Business or Enterprise, you can easily upload files or send attachments to a specific Box folder by email when you enable the Allow uploads to this folder via email option. You can then forward email attachments or send files to the email address generated for that folder to upload your files.
Our technical team will need to investigate this issue further, would you mind submitting a support ticket here explaining the issue ( or a link to this thread ) and then send us the Drive app log to sup...@icedrive.net referencing the ticket number.
wow. ive been dissapointed in the upload speeds, but can handle it i guess. now problem is the video player just keeps loading, doesnt play on demand. and also files uploading not into their correct folders. i end up buying the lifetime sub as initially it seemed good. hopefully these things will be corrected.
I hv pdf reports generated from a software for an offline activity. The generated reports to be accessed by individual students. Is there any way to upload these files and their scores to moodle? I could not use assignment as students don't submit any files through moodle.
The fastest workaround I use is an Assignment. Enable "Feedback" files (and online comment as well if yopu want that too), adjust the grading option, disable all submissions from students, provide a good instruction and you're good to go in five minutes.
As far as I'm aware, all you can do is download student submissions, and then upload them back in bulk to the assignment feedback files area. I don't know that you can bulk upload feedback files when there are no initial student submissions to download.
If you want to bulk add entries, you can replace in the view template of the Manage List view, the pattern ##addnewentry## with ##addnewentries##. The latter will display a dropdown of numbers and selecting a number will open in the new entry form the selected number of entries and you can fill in the student names and files and save all.
Or if you're feeling comfortable you can add a csv view and import entries for all students. Currently, you cannot also import files via the csv view (forthcoming), but after you added the entries you can go to the Manage List view and bulk edit entries and drag&drop the feedback files.
Yes, indeed, with Assignment, if there are NO original submissions from students, even if only the briefest online text ones, it will be impossible to use bulk upload of the feedback files, as you need the prefix composed of the student's exact name in the system plus the number of their submission (which are added automatically when bulk-downloading submissions) You can only grade and add feedback files one by one..
