Given that Microsoft has deprecated Internet Explorer 11, beginning in July 2020 Oracle will stop certifying Internet Explorer to access new Oracle application releases. There are significant security and performance concerns with Internet Explorer 11 (see Microsoft FAQ), and Oracle encourages customers to move to a modern browser such as Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or Apple Safari.
Support is provided by Oracle on all platforms that the browser vendor provides support for. For mobile device operating systems, Oracle provides support for the most recent browser delivered by the device operating system only.
Did you know that Oracle was once in the browser business, with a product that potentially rivalled Netscape Navigator and Internet Explorer? Strange as it may seem, Oracle once had their own browser, known as Oracle Powerbrowser.
Launched back in 1996, Oracle Powerbrowser was Oracle's own web browser that was Netscape 1.1 compatible, came with its own built-in personal web server, and introduced a number of unique features that tied up with Oracle's then-current craze around all things internet. Nowadays, hardly anyone remembers it, but you can still find copies of it around the internet and it's interesting to look back at what it was all about.
The basic Powerbrowser interface resembled the 1.0 release of Netscape Navigator, had basic support for tables and images, and came with side panels that listed the user's bookmarks and history of pages viewed.
JD Edwards EnterpriseOne offers two types of power forms: browse and edit. Use a power browse form to browse data on a form. You cannot use a power browse form to change data on the form. This form is similar to a find/browse form. A power browse form with a BV should always have a grid with at least one column. You can hide the grid.
Hierarchical relationships govern the processing between containers in the application. The power form enables you to create hierarchies based on BVs using power forms and subform controls. A power form always resides at the top of the hierarchy. It is a parent form, and can have multiple subform children. Subforms also can function as parent forms, and they can have multiple children. All subforms must have at least one parent power form or subform. At most, you can have three levels, including the initial power form, in a power form hierarchy.
This flowchart illustrates the flow of logic between subform A and subform B. The flow of logic occurs only between subform A (parent) and subform B (child). The subforms do not communicate with the power form:
Use the Mapping Links property to identify the data to pass between parent and child. For each data item, specify whether the data is to flow from parent to child, child, to parent, or both directions. You must set up a mapping for every child of the parent. Without the mapping, the power browse form probably will not work correctly.
The Find button is a standard button on power browse forms that appears by default. When the user clicks it, runtime fires the Button Clicked event. If no errors exist in the filter fields, runtime performs data selection and sequencing for the grid control. After reloading the grid with the fetched data, runtime fires the Post Button Clicked event.
The Select button is a standard button on power browse forms that appears by default. When the user clicks it, runtime fires the Button Clicked event. If no errors occur, runtime writes the values from the selected row to the BC and fires the Post Button Clicked event. Then it fires the End Dialog event and initiates the dialog close process.
The Close button is a standard button on power browse forms that appears by default. When the user clicks it, runtime fires the Button Clicked and Post Button Clicked events in immediate succession. If no errors occur, runtime attempts to close all of the modeless child forms, if any exist. If any of these child forms cannot be closed, the Close button process is terminated. Otherwise, runtime fires the End Dialog event and initiates the dialog close process.
Direct a web browser to Oracle ILOM using the IP address of the server SP. Log in as a user with root or administrator privileges. See Accessing Oracle ILOM in Oracle Server X7-8 Installation Guide.
Caution - When you power off the server using Oracle ILOM, the server enters Standby power mode. Power is still directed to the service processor remote management subsystem and power supply fans. To completely power off the server, you must disconnect the power cords from the power supplies.
4. In the new browser tab, enter your user name and password. If your credentials provide you access, a message indicates that the report is being processed. Export processing time depends on the amount of data requested. Once the processing is completed, refreshing the browser will download the exported file.
The storage redirection feature in the Oracle ILOM Remote System Console is not supported by Macintosh browser clients. In addition, international keyboard support is not supported by Macintosh browser clients.
Oracle ILOM supports the use of the following web browsers on the SP, CMM, Oracle ILOM Remote System Console, and the Oracle ILOM Remote System Console Plus. Note that other web browsers that were not tested and are not listed in the following table might also be compatible with Oracle ILOM for monitoring and managing remote devices.
Labels appear across the X-axis for every bill. Labels are hidden in a manner to ensure that labels do not overlap for reduced screen sizes. For example, labels can be displayed for every other bill when a browser window is reduced.
The Data Browser supports solar data by displaying a customer's net energy usage in a given interval of time on the horizontal axis. (This may also be referred to as net energy metering, or NEM.) For example, if a customer has solar power and generates more energy than they consume, the Data Browser will show the customer's energy use as a credit or as a negative value. This data can be configured to display in different ways for a utility. See the Energy Costs view and Energy Use view for details.
Starting from 2023, Ford and Red Bull Powertrains will work to develop the power unit that will be part of the new technical regulations, including a 350 kW electric motor and a new combustion engine able to accept fully sustainable fuels, ready for the 2026 season.
Ford will provide technical expertise in all areas where it can add value to the front-running World Championship team. Areas to be explored together are in the combustion engine development and key developments like battery cell and electric motor technology, power unit control software and analytics.
