Doesn't windows 2000 come with terminal services. Will that do the job
for you?

connecting to a windows 2000 desktop only works in the windows 2000
server edition, but windows 2000 provides the software (client) to
connect to shared desktops based on RDP. it is called the "terminal
services client" and works with windows 2000 server, windows xp pro and
windows 2003 server.
Any help?

I have tried a remote control tool named "Radmin".
it is perfect to have a remote connection.

The RDP client is on the Windows XP CD.

1. Insert the Windows XP CD
2. From the autoplay menu select 'Perform additional Tasks'
3. Select 'Set up Remote Desktop Connection'

And away you go.
