Graphics software കളില്‍ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്ന VECTOR എന്ന പദത്തിനു ഒറ്റവാക്കുണ്ടോ മലയാളത്തില്‍?

"സദിശം" എന്നായിരുന്നു എന്നു തോന്നുന്നു സ്കൂളില്‍ പഠിച്ചതു്. അതാണോ "വെക്ടര്‍" എന്ന പദത്തെക്കാള്‍ നല്ലതു് എന്നു് ഉറപ്പില്ല.--

"സദിശം" അല്ല സിയാദ് ഉദ്ദേശിയ്ക്കുന്നതെന്നു തോന്നുന്നൂ, ഉമേഷ്ജീ.
“സദിശം” എന്നത് Spatial Vector-നെ സൂചിപ്പിയ്ക്കുന്നു (ദിശയും മാനവും
ഉള്ളത്)
എന്നാല്‍, സിയാദ് ഉദ്ദേശിയ്ക്കുന്ന Vector, Spatial alla, Coordinate
Vector ആണ്. അതാണ് ഗ്രാ‍ഫിക്സില്‍ ഉപയോഗിയ്ക്കുന്ന Vector.
