H.U.S.H. Update!!!

Hi Everyone,

 

I know it's been a while since the last update, but I have been waiting to get news from Haiti.  After much back and forth with officials in Haiti, Sr. Alta has finally unloaded the container and the goods are in storage at the shelter until Sr. Alta returns back to Haiti. She is currently in the States attending a conference for nuns and will be in the DC area Saturday August 27th. We hope to have a meeting then and talk to her about the relief efforts and the orphanage. I will keep you updated on a date and time.

Jeff and I are going to try and stop by. We have a funeral to go to this afternoon but I also let Hank Boyd, your neighbor, know so he can collect information to share with our church in case Jeff and I don't get there.
