"The HelpMatch wiki is at: http://www.helpmatch.net/index.php/Main_Page

Action items: If you haven't, add yourself to the HelpMatch members
on
the wiki."

f.y.i. - I returned the Strategy, Current Events discussion, and
Collaboration Tools pages back to the last good state (I think). They
were defaced.

I tried to reply to the original posting that the Wiki was referrenced
in, but it said that replies were not allowed, when it looked like
they were going to be. I don't get it. Has anyone else seen this
behavior?

- Craig.

Hi all,

Well it appears the Helpmatch wiki has been targeted for defilement; just as
soon as Craig cleaned it up (thanks), it got trashed again (bother)...

So, what to do?

I'm guessing that a site wide password can be established to protect
from unwanted changes (http://www.soks.org/view/
HowToPasswordProtectYourWiki). Who has access to set this up? I'll
make the attempt if I'm given access.

Hi :)

Jarvis Ka hosts the Wiki on his server and he set it up for us. :) But
Jarvis is pretty well inundated at present...

I did go through many of the Wiki pages this evening and blocked access to
unregistered users. It means that to edit anything, one has to log in, which
is a real pain, but having to constantly resurrect the site content is even
more of a nuisance... :)

Anyway, does a page-by-page block make sense? It does mean that whenever you
add a page, you have to explicitly "protect" the page. (It also means even
your team member page needs to be protected--I saw that Udi Dahan's team
member profile was defiled... and I set it back to what I think was the
original entry... Udi--can you make sure?)

How does ELGG or Community Server play into this?? Is it instead of, or in
addition to, the Wiki and Blog? I suppose the Wiki acts as a content
repository rather than a file repository... ?? Being able to share and edit
diagrams is going to be pretty important...

Ciao,
