I hope I don’t come off too harsh with this posting. But I do NOT read any Postings I receive with Addresses attached to them. Like for example, if the Message starts with, “Original Message from Name to 20+ names. I don’t read such messages because, for one, when using a Screen Reader, it is very difficult o get through the list of names/addresses without missing the entire message. That is why if I do pass something along to friends etc., I CTRL"+A and Copy and then hit Forward and then paste the message without all the dozens of names before hitting send. and regarding posts/emails with just a URL link, I am very leery about going to a website through an email or third party site. For example, a website says go to WEBSITE to see this. Unless I’ve been there before I am very cautious about going to a site via 3rd party without some information about it first. I am not trying to accuse anyone of sending spam messages. just trying to explain why, when I pass something along I got from someone I do it the way I do it and why I don’t just click a link because it was sent from someone I know. hope this explains a few things and hope it made some kind of since.

Hello All,

In this type of email situation this is where people need to use the  blind carbon copy when sending messages to a lot of people so that this way for people who use screen readers do not have to hear all those other email addresses.  Another thing that people  can do when sending a  message or forwarding a message is not to include that original message however, they can just take the text of that email message paste it into a new email message and etc.  Also when a message is forwarded to a lot of people they have a lot of those greater than signs going down the left side of your screen.  There is a program called Email Stripper and it is free you can download it at http://www.papercut.com/emailStripper.htm  You take the email message with all the greater than signs in it.  Open up email stripper paste it into that program and then click or tab to strip it and press enter.  Then that will take all those signs out.  Then you just use your up arrow or down arrow to  select the parts of the message you want.  Then do a control C for copy and then close the program.  Then you just go back into your email program get a new email message and press control V for paste.

I hope that you find the information listed above helpful.

Thank you for your time regarding this matter.

Sincerely,

Christine Chaikin GoogleGroup owner and moderator

To subscribe go to in-sightful.com  Then in the google group subscribe box enter your email address and then click on the subscribe button.  After you have clicked on the subscribe button you need to go back and check your email.  You are going to receive an email from Google Groups and all you need to do is reply to it and press send.  Now you may need to check your junk email folder or your spam folder just in case it does not come to your inbox.

i used to do it the way everyone else does it but that was when i had my old computer and it has a lot of spam and viruses on it because of that. that's another reason why i don't forward things that way anymore either. that's also why i request if anyone email's me to my private address, they put my name in the BCC field. i am a very private person and don't like to give my address or number to just anyone.
