*Subject:* *FW: DTP Regional Program-Myanmar*
Dear Friends,
I hope this email finds you well and that there is much to be hopeful for
in your work and personal lives. We started the year busily here at DTP
with two programs in Australia and Patrick completing the final stage of a
yearlong project in Nepal. We have also been working to complete all the
documentation necessary for a review of our work which hopefully will lead
to some core funding.
Planning for our next regional program is underway-we are hoping to deliver
the program in Myanmar -May 19-28. There is much to be done in a short
time. Most importantly we are very keen to make sure that people in the
region who will most benefit from the training hear about it and so I am
contacting you to ask for your assistance with this. As alumni of the
training you know best what people will gain from attending and you also
are the experts on who is working in the area of human rights , business
and development-particularly as it impacts on Indigenous Peoples in your
countries .
Could you please pass on the brochure and application form to your
colleagues and people in your networks and please pass on your
nominations. We are still seeking the funds to make sure the program can
proceed so if you have any suggestions about grants we would be most
grateful.
My best wishes,
*Lorelle*
