Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mid-Level Salesforce Developer to join our team in Washington, D.C. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between administration and high-level development, ensuring our Salesforce ecosystem is robust, scalable, and highly efficient. You will play a critical role in designing, coding, and implementing complex solutions that drive our business forward.
Key Responsibilities
Full-Stack Salesforce Development: Design and develop custom solutions using Apex (classes, triggers, controllers) and Visualforce to meet evolving business requirements.
Platform Customization: Leverage both declarative (Admin) and programmatic (Developer) features to build seamless user experiences.
External Integration: Utilize Heroku to build, deploy, and scale data-driven applications that integrate with the Salesforce platform.
System Administration: Manage core administrative functions including user management, security controls, workflow rules, and complex validation rules.
Maintenance & Support: Troubleshoot and resolve code bugs, performance bottlenecks, and integration issues within the production environment.
Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications and participate in code reviews to ensure best practices.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience: 3–5 years of professional experience in Salesforce development and administration.
Technical Core: Proficiency in Apex programming and Visualforce page development.
Cloud Expertise: Hands-on experience with Heroku for app hosting and data synchronization.
Admin Mastery: Strong understanding of Salesforce standard objects, security models, and Lightning Experience.
Integration Skills: Experience with APIs (SOAP/REST) and connecting Salesforce with external systems.
Location: Ability to work onsite at our Washington, D.C. office.
