Position : Sr. Systems Engineer
Location: Rockville, MD
Duration: 6 Months (Contract to hire)

Note- candidates for this role must have or be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
MUST HAVE:
· 5+ years experience in systems engineering including:
o Experience with large-scale software development projects
o Experience in full software lifecycle development with:
§ Java/J2EE
§ XML with Soap or REST Web Services
§ Unix/Solaris
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Familiarity with Multi-Zone Architecture
· Experience with Agile practices
· Experience working directly with customers to discuss their requirements and objectives
· Ability to prioritize, status, and multitask
· Bachelors Degree or higher
NICE TO HAVE:
· Proven Experience with National Information Exchange Model (NIEM)
· FDA experience and domain knowledge
