Senior Application Developer – Informatica ETL

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Application Developer with
strong expertise in Informatica ETL and Yellowbrick to
join our Insurance Technology team. The ideal candidate will design, develop,
and maintain data integration solutions that support insurance operations,
analytics, and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Responsibilities:
- Design,
develop, and maintain ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter or Informatica
IICS.
- Build and
optimize data pipelines on Yellowbrick data warehouse
platform.
- Collaborate
with business analysts and insurance stakeholders to gather requirements
and translate them into technical solutions.
- Ensure data
accuracy, consistency, and compliance with insurance regulatory standards.
- Perform
performance tuning and troubleshooting of ETL jobs and SQL queries.
- Document ETL
processes, data mappings, and system configurations.
- Provide
production support and resolve data-related issues promptly.
Optional Team Lead
Responsibilities (if applicable):
- Lead and
mentor a team of ETL and data warehouse developers.
- Allocate
tasks, manage workloads, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
- Conduct code
reviews and enforce coding standards and best practices.
- Coordinate
with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and business
stakeholders.
- Facilitate
Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
- Act as a
point of escalation for technical and delivery challenges.
Required Skills &
Qualifications:
- 5–10+ years
of hands-on experience in Informatica ETL development.
- Strong
experience with Yellowbrick or similar MPP data warehouse
platforms.
- Proficiency
in SQL, data profiling, and performance optimization.
- Solid
understanding of data warehousing, data modeling,
and ETL best practices.
- Experience
working in the insurance domain, with knowledge of policy,
claims, and regulatory data.
- Excellent
problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to
cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and cloud-native data tools.
- Experience
with data governance and compliance frameworks.
Insurance certifications or domain-specific
training is a plus.
