Forward Deployed Engineer-FDE AI Applications Dev

Austin, TX- # Hybrid

Note: 

 1)The working position is Hybrid ( 3 days per week onsite required )

 2) Program will only allow candidates who are LOCAL TO THE TEXAS STATE

• Please do not submit candidates who are currently out of state and are planning to move to Texas. Candidates must already reside in Texas.

 

State / Federal client experience profiles only

NOTE:

• Contract will initially be for 90 days with extensions possible.
• Selected candidate will be provided a maximum of seven (7) business days to provide their fingerprint scan for a background check.

Job Description:

Required Experience on below : 8+ years

Key Skills:

• Hands-on software engineering experience
• Cloud-native architecture and modern application development
• TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, or C#
• React, Angular, or Web Components
• API integrations, including LLMs and enterprise platforms
• CI/CD using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or equivalent
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM/Bicep, or similar)
• DevSecOps, containerization, and cloud automation
• Security frameworks including NIST, Zero Trust, and TX-RAMP

Preferred Experience:

• AI-enabled workflows, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and agentic workflows
• Salesforce, Appian, and ServiceNow integrations
• State government or regulated environment experience
• Multi-agency integration projects
• Kubernetes, TOGAF, CISSP, CCSP, CISM, SAFe, or Scrum certifications

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop AI-powered applications, APIs, automation solutions, and reusable components.
• Build rapid prototypes and production-ready systems using cloud-native architectures.
• Implement DevSecOps pipelines and infrastructure automation.
• Collaborate with agency stakeholders to translate business needs into working solutions.
• Mentor internal teams and provide knowledge transfer.
• Evaluate AI technologies based on security, cost, interoperability, and long-term sustainability.
