Role: SAP HANA with database side

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Duration: 6+Month

Start Date: Immediate - 1 week.

Interview: Phone/Video

Experience level: 7-10 years

 

Skill set & JD

1.    Expert on Data Services as a product – scheduling on HANA platform (mapping), procedure / data services / notifications,

2.    Design scheduling, job monitoring, exception handing and notification process – HIGH

3.    Review the data flows and jobs designed to determine if best practices were used, and where it can improve

4.    Review and help with the transport process…how do we get DS jobs from Dev to Test, and then schedule the job to run on Test with all support processes in motion

5.    Help with some of the dataflow creations

 

Note - This expert should be aware of HANA technology…specifically on the database side, the in-memory usage, and how Data Services utilizes this HANA functionality in a non-BW world.  But they do not need to be an expert in HANA Views or end-user querying of the data.
