Job Summary
The QA Test Manager will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive manual test plans and test cases for the NASWA SIDES data exchange platform. The role involves validating secure data exchanges between internal agency systems and external third-party brokers, ensuring data accuracy, system reliability, and compliance with technical specifications.
The selected candidate will perform manual API testing, end-to-end integration testing, database validation, regression testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) while collaborating closely with Business Analysts, Developers, and stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience
- 4–7 years of experience in manual testing for complex enterprise applications
- Strong expertise in creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Hands-on experience with Postman or SoapUI for API and integration testing
- Experience validating request/response payloads and testing web services
- Proven experience with end-to-end integration testing involving external systems
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Experience managing defect tracking and reporting with clear reproduction steps
- Hands-on experience with UAT, regression, interface, accessibility, and data conversion testing
- Strong SQL skills for database validation and data integrity verification
- Experience validating XML and JSON data formats
- Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with DB2 and MS SQL Server
- Knowledge of ALM Octane
- Exposure to Jenkins, CVS, Maven, and Ant
- Familiarity with NASWA SIDES or similar government data exchange standards
