Announcing CFEngine 3.28.0

Hello fellow CFEngineers,

We are happy to announce the availability of CFEngine 3.28.0.

This is a non-LTS feature release and there are some nice quality of life improvements in this release:

• Ubuntu 26 has been added as a supported platform
• classes type promises now have a cancel attribute that can be used to undefined the promised class if it's defined. Previously the only way to undefine a class was as the result of some other promise since classes can't have classes bodies there was no way to undefine a class using the classes promise type directly. Also note that the behavior of timer_policy has changed it's default from absolute to reset meaning it will extend persistent classes instead of waiting for them to expire before being re-defined.
• getgroups() and getusers() arguments are now optional.
• smtpport is now configurable in body executor control to configure the port on which to send mail.
• The behavior of select_region and editing ini files has been improved.
