problems with '(' or ')' in paths

Helma has problems with '(' or ')' in paths. Example:
C:\helma-1-7-0\bin
... works, but ...
C:\helma-1-7-0\(bin)
works not

Tested with v1.7.0 and 1.6.3, win xp. (The Helma Bugtracker is a dead
link, so i post here)

Unfortunately I didn't have any time at all recently to work on Next, so don't expect anything to happen too soon, but at least I won't be forgotten.
