Trip to LA Velodrome and LAVRA Cup

Hi,

Some of you may have heard of the Team Pursuit Programs on Tuesday Nights, this Tuesday Men's TP followed by Women next week. The overarching goal is sending teams to Elite Nationals at the Home Depot Center (LA Velodrome) this year. In support of this we've arranged time at Home Depot June 22 3:30pm to certify riders for the track, cost $25 each (normally $80) followed by team pursuit training on the track. We'll contest events at the LAVRA cup the following day.

If you're interested in racing team pursuit I'd suggest you look at attending the Tuesday night sessions to see how it works for you. More details on the program and trip will be discussed this Monday and Tuesday nights at the Intro to Racing and Team Pursuit sessions.

Saturday morning/day

- Depart Saturday morning to LA Velodrome.

- Attend afternoon private session to certify all riders in first part of session, rest of session is focused on team pursuit practice along with efforts from other hellyer riders.

Saturday night

- Courtyard Marriott, Sherman Oaks, 4 miles away. Rooms are $98 a night (elite member pricing) for a double queen bed room, states it sleeps 5 in the description. Others should book at same hotel if possible, prices are cheap enough split between others.
