Disappearing text?

Hey there, how's it been going?

I think I may have tracked down a problem with Windows that's being
caused by Hellau. I'm not positive as yet, but I'm pretty sure that
Hellau is causing this.

After a while (sometimes an hour, sometimes 8 hours) I'll be working
along as normal, and text will start disappearing from my screen.
Title bars of windows... text inside the windows... even the text from
the Start button vanishes. When I reboot, everything's fine again.
Well, it just happened again about 5 minutes ago and I started closing
applications one at a time, and when I closed Hellau, the text
appeared again, so I'm pretty sure that's what was causing it. I spoke
to my boss, an IT tech, and he said he's never heard of this problem
happening before, and I'm the only one in the office that's
experiencing it (and I'm the only one running Hellau), so I think I've
got it isolated.

Have you had this happen before?

yes, I have got this too and tracked it down. The problem is that when
I update the icon in the tray that displays the progress I am creating
resource handles. Because I do this very often and I have no real
controll over the memory in C# those don't get closed. If you look in
the log tab under hellau, you should see something like "a generic
GDI+ exception has occured" or similar. So I will have to disable
the status bar in the icon again until I have found a proper solution.
Not much spare tim eat the moment, but I'll try to get a small update
out in the next few days.
