Symphony Orchestra debut
for Bartok's striking and impassioned Violin Concerto No. 2, written
in 1937-38. Bruckner's Symphony
No. 6, written between 1879 and 1881, is a rarely heard example of the
composer's magisterial symphonic style.

Johnson Theater of the Paul Creative Arts Center of the University of

Plato's The Apology of Socrates, a one-man theatrical performance,
will be reenacted by Emmy Award Winner actor, Yannis Simonides, along
with Broadway Veteran director, Loukas N. Skipitaris, Academy Award
Winner costume designer, Theoni V. Aldredge, and percussionist, Caryn
Heiman.
