Hello, 

I emailed earlier today and am in desperate need of assistance. I have an old version of Helix running our production facility, and mistakenly (stupidly) updated the server computer to a version that will not run. I have tried moving my server to another computer, but the serial and license will not be accepted. I am hoping you can help, with a new key or even an upgrade. I have 120 disabled adults that rely on helix to get paid correctly, and I am in a pinch. Thank you in advance!

Consider:

1. Don’t have more than one servers running, if original license is for one server, likewise

have only one client running, independent of old license running. Quit other appss.

Shut down/Restart Mac between Helix installs (might not be necessary, for some fixing is). 

2. For emergency fix, try to reinstall old server, client, if compatible ewith mac OS, per BigGiantDonut website,

OR

Phone Gil Numeroff, buy new 8.02 software, if compatible with your MaacOS and hardware for Server and lClient(s),

AND

If  you don’t have local backups of Helix software and your Helix serial number,

consider hiring an experienced Helix developer to help you get back up as fast as feasible,

and reviewing your backup, utility, and related good practices.
